Abstract:The paper presents an algorithm combining square response surface and Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) to solve the problem that RBFNN is often difficult to meet the precision request of approximation model. By using this method the extended error of the approximation model is diminished, the approximation precision is improved, and the flexibility is enhanced based on having the same sample points. Two numerical examples indicate that the method is effective in increasing the approximation precision and can be used to increase the design efficiency and quality in multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO).

Abstract:The fault modes and system reliability of the flap control system of a certain type of military trainer are studied in the paper. Some possible fault modes of the system are analyzed in detail. The fault tree of the system is built by considering that the flap cannot be laid down. The fault probability of the system and the degrees of importance of elements are computed by means of a new algorithm proposed for network systems in a previous paper. All the results provide a foundation for the maintenance crew in their practical maintenance work.

Abstract:A path planning method for UAVs is presented. First, through mission scenario, a Voronoi diagram is constructed, based on this, space decomposition network model and Resenthal algorithm are used to compute the coarse path - a series of straight-line segments and not flyable. Then, using a series of cubic splines to connect these straight - line segments, the path is refined into an optimal one that is flyable for the UAVs. Simulation result shows that this method is simple, effective and of a certain value in application.

Abstract:Aim Terrain analysis is one important procedure in route planning for Cms. The main aim of it is to promote the real terrain matching probability, in this way, the targets can be destroyed successfully. By using the methods with FBM function, the formulas of finding the fractal dimension value and the variance are deduced. Especially a flow chart of the terrain analysis based on fractal dimension is proposed. Based on the deduced formulas the two character values are calculated and the corresponding matching probabilities are compared. Examples show that the constraint of fractal dimension in route planning can obviously increase the successful terrain matching probability.

Abstract:The Nearest Near Joint Probabilistic Data Association (NNJPDA) is not used directly in multi-sensor multi-target tracking. This paper presents a method of implementing multi-sensor multi-target tracking by combining maximum likelihood estimation with the Nearest Near Joint Probabilistic Data Association (NNJPDA). The maximum likelihood estimation is used to classify the same source observations at one time into the same set, and then NNJPDA is used to implement multi-target tracking. The theoretical analysis and computer simulation show that this algorithm can achieve multi-sensor multi-target tracking perfectly with low calculation load added and higher precision.

Abstract:A new definition of geographical gridding and its code is presented aiming at network warfare. Data of various radars are fused by using a method of grey incidence, which can be used to diminish the measuring error caused by jam and other random factors. This method can make the target information more unified and accurate, and at the same time the anti-jam ability of the radar is enhanced in the sense of data processing. At last, an example is given to validate the feasibility and validity of this method.

Abstract:Performance analysis is made using the irregular LDPC codes for the OFDM system based on the static uncorrelated multi-path Rayleigh fading channel and the comparison with regular LDPC codes. It shows that the performance of irregular LDPC codes is better than that of the regular LDPC codes in any modulation and any map code. The BER in Gray map mode is superior to that in nature map mode in performance at the same condition.

Abstract:This paper presents an analytical model that can be used to evaluate the blocking probability of each service class in a multi-class optical burst - switching network. The model allows, for the first time, the evaluation of blocking probabilities in optical burst switching (OBS) systems with arbitrary burst -length distributions and arbitrary offsets, including OBS systems in which all classes are different in mean burst length. Such systems do not follow the conservation law and cannot, therefore, be analyzed using previously published OBS models. For an OBS system with two classes, an offset load of 10-3, and a 1 : 5 ratio of high - priority to low - priority traffic, this shows that the model accurately predicts the blocking probability for each class, whereas predictions from previously published models that assume conservation disagree with the simulation results by as much as 75%.

Abstract:The OFDM system is characterized by the Gaussian - like signal behavior with a relatively high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). As a result, the performance of OFDM system is very sensitive to nonlinear distortions, which arise mainly from the high power amplifier (HPA). In addition, the wideband characteristics of transmitted signals cause the nonlinear distortions to be frequency - dependent. This paper proposes an identification-based adaptive pre-distortion scheme, which is constructed by using the indirect learning architecture, to compensate nonlinearity of the HPA with memory effects. Simulation results show that the proposed adaptive pre-distortion scheme can effectively suppress spectral re-growth and reduce in - band distortion for HPA with memory.

Abstract:In this paper stochastic resonance of FHN neuron model when there exists only the response of suprathreshold oscillation with weak periodic signal is studied. The results of research show: A bifurcation of transition from two attractors (suprathreshold oscillation and sub-threshold oscillation) to one attractor (suprathreshold oscillation) occurs with the increase of bifurcation parameter, when the bifurcation parameter of system is on the right side of bifurcation point there exists only the response of suprathreshold oscillation in FHN neuron model excited by weak signal, in this case, under the modulation of external noise or internal noise, the energy of system response concentrating on the frequency of input signal, and the curve of signal - noise - ratio (SNR) of system response vs noise extensity is a mon - peak curve, stochastic resonance occurs, and the mechanism of stochastic resonance in this case is related to the transitions among the three attractors ( two before bifurcation and one after it) on the left and right sides of bifurcation point.

Abstract:The traditional back-propagation algorithm has some disadvantages, for instance, the speed of learning convergence is too slow and local extreme values are present in the process of search sometimes. In order to solve the problems described above, this paper applies adaptive learning rate and momentum term to improve the general back-propagation algorithm. Taking the circuit system's fault diagnosis for example, the basic fault features are transformed by means of using the fuzzy sets of fuzzy mathematics, and take as the inputs of the adaptive neural network. And then, the fault codes are used as the outputs of adaptive neural network. The experiment simulation results show that this method can be used to diagnose and identify the fault types of circuit system effectively.

Abstract:Based on a great deal of test data, all empirical formulas for projectiles penetration into concrete have a limited domain in engineering. According to the principle of gray correlation analysis, a comparison data sequences are composed of multiply factors that influence the penetration depth. Meanwhile, the reference data sequences are also organized by the actual parameters. A common method for choosing the empirical formula of penetration depth is presented based on the model of gray optimal theory. The results of example show that the result of the gray correlation analysis is consistent with the experiment result, and the error of penetration depth is less than 5%.
