Abstract:Based on wavelet packet analysis and probability density function analysis, the characteristics of signal fluctuation and probability density function distribution of the first compressor stator casing wall static pressure, which was measured during the throttling process of a certain engine, are investigated. It is observed that along with the gradual approaching of engine working point to the surge line, the fluctuation magnitude of the first compressor stator casing wall static pressure contents at several specific frequency bands will increase, and corresponding probability density function distribution will become wider. The observed signal characteristics can serve as an aerodynamic instability indication of the test engine during the throttling process.

Abstract:Based on the analysis of multi-aircraft coordination target assignment, an optimization mathematical model is presented. Then a genetic algorithm is applied to solving this problem, which is proved to be an effective algorithm in solving target assignment problems. Finally, the “good” gene is used in improving the efficiency of genetic algorithm. Simulation results show that the efficiency of the "good" gene is improved almost to sixty percent. The advantage of the algorithm is more obvious in multi-aircraft environment.

Abstract:As the surroundings of airports will have great effect on approach landing systems' guidance parameters, the increasing air traffic and the new buildings on most of the modern airports are of serious threat to the operation of navaid and landing system. So it is necessary to perform a theoretical analysis and a numerical simulation before every major construction activity on the airport or approach landing system's installation. In this paper, the numerical system simulations (NSS) for approach landing systems are discussed, including the purpose, the methods applied, the process flow of system simulations, and the frame of software system of NSS. Simultaneously an example is given.

Abstract:The largest Lyapunov exponents of the pressure signal between the stages of the eight-stage axial compressor of a certain engine is researched. It is presented that, taking zero of the largest Lyapunov exponent as the criterion of the stall of the compressor, the stage whose largest Lyapunov exponent first reaches zero is the stage of the first stall. Computational results demonstrate that the method can detect stall inception signal of compressor 0.2s before the start of deep rotating stall, and the third stage is the stage of the first stall.

Abstract:The attitude matching transfer alignment is sensitive to the wing flexibility. If the model of the wing flexibility is fault, the Kalman filter performance of the attitude matching transfer alignment should be deteriorated. The H∞ filter is robust to the uncertain disturbance of the system. In this paper, the H∞ filter for the attitude matching transfer alignment is designed and the wing flexibility is considered as the uncertain disturbance measured in the attitude matching transfer alignment. Simulation results show that the H∞ filter for the attitude matching transfer alignment can accomplish the transfer alignment within about ten seconds and the accuracy of the transfer alignment can be less than five angular minutes without the model of the wing flexibility.

Abstract:In this paper, the accelerated aging tests at several higher temperatures are carried out for a kind of RDX compound explosive charge used in a certain missile warhead. By statistical analysis of the test data, the shelf life distribution rule is studied, an estimate model for the shelf life is established, and the average value and the low confidence limits of the shelf life at storage temperature is predicted. Based on these the following conclusions are drawn: the shelf life of the warhead charge obeys lognormal distribution. At temperature 250C, its mean shelf life is 67.2 years, and the low confidence limit is 29.58, 23.06, 15.75 and 7.14 years at the confidence level 0.8, o.85, 0.9 and 0.95, respectively. The achievements obtained in this paper are of important value.

Abstract:Based on the new concept of advance thermal analysis and design for electronic equipment, the thermal behavior of the power components and the printed circuit board (PCB) in an opening cabinet are simulated numerically using calculation fluid dynamic method. Temperature values and their profiles on the face of PCB and power supply are obtained, and so are their spatial modes in cabinet. The results are discussed and analyzed, which provides a theoretical basis for optimizing and improving the thermal design of the electronic equipment. The research shows that the advance thermal design for electronic equipment, compared to the traditional one, is easy in operation, advantageous to optimization and of low cost.

Abstract:A new algorithm is presented for face recognition based on DCT and a multi-class support vector machine (SVM) model. The extracted features from human face images by DCT have major information that can be recognized. As a classifier, the SVM has its particular advantage in tackling small sample size, high dimension and etc., and is of high generalization and without need of priori knowledge. The results on ORL face database show that the DCT feature extraction method is effective and the SVM is superior to the nearest neighbor classifier in classification performance with the efficiency of the whole system improved.

Abstract:The fundamental notions and operations on Atanassov's Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets are first introduced. Several extended techniques, i.e. those of max-min, arithmetic mean minimum, geometric mean minimum, correlative moduli and correlative exponents, for calculating the similarity on semantic match for intuitionistic fuzzy are proposed by making extensions of models for calculating similarity on Zedeh fuzzy sets with the emphasis on consideration of the effects of both the membership and the nonmembership. The applications are illustrated with examples, which further develops the approaches to calculating semantic matching degree on the intuitionistic fuzzy sets as an extension. Finally, intuitionistic fuzzy relations are investigated with the proof of a theorem on intuitionistic fuzzy similar matrix.

Abstract:A mixed genetic algorithm with the tabu search operator is proposed for multi-channel optimized target - assigning in operation of air defense. Both the advantages of tabu search algorithm and those of genetic algorithm are integrated into this algorithm. This algorithm avoids the shortage of global search capability of the tabu search algorithm, improves the mountain climbing capability of the genetic algorithm, solves the problem of being easily immersed in local optimization in the genetic algorithm and enables the search course to have a memory capability. The simulation result shows that the algorithm can effectively give a satisfied solution to the problem in solving multi-channel optimized target - assignment.
