The radiation characteristics and expression method of linear-array under the excitation of ultra-wide band (UWB) impulse signal are analyzed in this paper. Through detailed analysis, it is shown that the azimuth resolution can be enhanced through adjusting the weight coefficients of the elements and the spaces between the elements of the linear-array without altering the array length. Finally, the result of the simulation is presented.
