An improved power control algorithm is proposed based on the associated coefficient in CDMA system by analyzing the traditional power control algorithm. In this algorithm, both the power vectors and filter coefficients are renovated. The simulation result shows that when the total transmission power is definite, users can obtain a higher SIR, at the same time, the users' transmission power is reduced distinctly compared to the traditional algorithm and the capacity of the system is also improved.
