This paper introduces the principle of Trellis Coded Modulation and the key technique, presents a TCM case of convoluted code word combined together with 8 states 8PSK, analyzes the capability of this system under the conditions of multi-diameter fading channel and proves the improvement made by 8 states 8PSK TCM on the performance of mobile channel.
