This paper puts forward a simple yet effective method of evaluating the effect of external stores on aircraft flight performance. First the general model and the basic principle are presented for the evaluation, then the directional evaluation for analyzing the effect of external stores on aircraft maximum speed of level flight, flying range and aerodynamic coefficients, etc. is provided, finally the mathematical model for evaluating the performance parameter is obtained and the ceiling increment is calculated by using the mathematic model.
